OFFICIAL RULES & WAIVER
These Rules & Regulations (the
“Rules”
) govern the skill-based fitness performance competition described below (the
“Competition”
). By registering for, attending, or participating in the Competition, each participant agrees to be bound by these Rules.
1. Sponsor & Administrator1.1 Sponsors.
The Competition is sponsored by RED BULL, DIAMOND EDGE CONSTRUCTION, MATRIX FITNESS, PRECOR, PROMOVAULT, THE ABS COMPANY, DAXCO, AND BIG BRAND GRAPHICS , and any other contributing sponsors (collectively, the “Sponsors”).
1.2 Administrator
. The Competition will be administered by CR Fitness (the “Administrator”). The Administrator may utilize judges, staff, volunteers, and contractors to assist with competition operations.
1.3 Not a Game of Chance
. The Competition is a skill-based event. Winners are determined solely by objective performance criteria and applicable tie-breakers described in these Rules. No element of chance determines the outcome.
2. Competition Overview
2.1
Event Description.
The Competition consists of one or more workouts/events (each an “Event”) involving fitness tasks such as completing a prescribed workout as fast as possible, completing as many repetitions as possible within a time cap, lifting prescribed weights, and/or a combination of these. The Event is an individual, skill-based fitness competition in which Participants compete based on objective performance metrics, including but not limited to time to completion, number of repetitions, weight lifted, and overall workout performance. This is a skill-based fitness competition. Winners are determined solely based on performance (not chance).2.2
Schedule and Location.
The Competition will be held on June 6
th
(Qualifier Round) at 93 CR Fitness Crunch locations in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas, and June 20
th
at 8 CR Fitness Crunch Locations in Tampa, Charlotte, Orlando, Sarasota, Miami, Atlanta, Dallas, and West Palm Beach (or such other date/location as announced by
Administrator
).2.3
Divisions.
Divisions, scaling standards, and categories (if any) will be posted by Administrator (e.g., RX, scaled, age groups, team/individual). Administrator may combine divisions if participation is insufficient, or modify divisions for safety or competitive integrity.
(a) Qualifier Round:
Date: June 6 Held at all participating locations Workouts may include (but are not limited to): rowing, barbell deadlift, push-ups, weighted ball slams, squat-to-wall ball movements Movements, weights, and standards will be predefined and standardized
(b) Advancement
Top 1 male and 1 female athlete from each club advance to Regionals Estimated finalists: 186 total
(c) Regional Events (June 20)
8 regional locations (assigned based on qualifying club) Finalists are responsible for their own travel and expenses
3. Eligibility; RegistrationEligibility.
To participate, an individual must:Open to active members in good standing at participating CR Fitness locations Must be 18 years of age or older at time of registration CR Fitness employees are not eligible to compete not be prohibited by applicable law from participating; and Participation limited to members of open/operating clubs only (excludes presale locations). Members from presale locations may register for the June 6

event at a participating location and compete at that location. 3.3
Registration.
Registration is completed only when Administrator confirms receipt of all required information and fees. Administrator may cap the number of participants.3.4
Registration Period.
Registration dates: April 1 – April 30 Entry fee: $50 (non-refundable) Registration must be completed in person at a participating club via the internal system. No online or third-party registration is permitted.Administrator reserves the right to open up/extend the registration period. 3.4
Accurate Information.
Participants must provide accurate registration information. Administrator may disqualify any participant who provides false or misleading information.3.5
Fees; Refunds.
Entry fees and any refund policy will be as posted by Administrator. Except as required by law, fees are nonrefundable.
4. Participant Obligations; Conduct
4.1
Rules Compliance.
Participants must follow:these Rules;all safety briefings and staff instructions;any posted equipment standards; andapplicable laws and venue rules.4.2
Sportsmanship.
Participants must act in a safe and sportsmanlike manner. Harassment, discrimination, threatening conduct, or intentionally unsafe behavior is prohibited.4.3
No Interference.
Participants may not interfere with other competitors, judges, timing systems, or equipment.4.4
Equipment.
Unless Administrator provides otherwise, participants are responsible for their own personal equipment (e.g., shoes, grips, belt). Administrator may inspect and reject equipment that is unsafe or noncompliant.
5. Health; Safety; Assumption of Risk
5.1
Physical Condition.
Each participant represents they are medically and physically able to participate. Participants should consult a physician before participating.5.2
Safety Authority.
Administrator may, in its discretion, remove or stop a participant from competing if Administrator believes the participant poses a safety risk to themselves or others.5.3
Assumption of Risk.
Participation involves inherent risks, including serious injury or death. Each participant voluntarily assumes all such risks.
6. Events; Standards; Modifications
6.1
Event Standards.
For each Event, Administrator will publish in advance (or at athlete briefing, if necessary):movements and repetition standards;prescribed loads/weights;time domains and time caps;equipment to be used;start/finish procedures; andscoring method.6.2
Standardization.
Administrator will use commercially reasonable efforts to standardize lane/equipment conditions; however, minor variations may occur.6.3
Right to Modify.
Administrator may modify any Event, standard, schedule, or equipment requirement to address safety, equipment availability, venue constraints, or competitive integrity. Modifications will be announced as soon as practicable.
7. Scoring; Objective Performance Metrics
7.1
Objective Metrics.
Scoring will be determined using objective performance metrics applicable to each Event, which may include, without limitation:
Time to completion
(faster time ranks higher);
Number of repetitions completed
within a time window (more reps rank higher);
Weight lifted
(heavier successful lift ranks higher);
Distance completed
within a time window (greater distance ranks higher);
Work capacity/total work
(e.g., total reps x load) if specified; and
Overall workout performance
as measured solely by the published scoring system.7.2
No Chance; No Randomization in Outcomes.
Winners are determined solely by the application of the objective metrics, judging standards, and tie-breakers described in these Rules.7.3
Scoring Method.
Administrator will use one or more scoring methods, as published for each Event:
For time:
rank by fastest time; if time cap applies, rank by reps completed.
AMRAP (as many reps as possible):
rank by total reps; if applicable, apply tie-break time.
Max lift:
rank by highest successful lift meeting standards.
Points system:
assign points by placement per Event; overall placement is determined by total points (lowest or highest, as specified).7.4
Rep Standards and No-Reps.
Judges will assess movement standards. Repetitions not meeting standards will not count (
“no-rep”
). Participants must correct no-reps if time permits.7.5
Timekeeping.
Official time will be determined by Administrator’s designated method (e.g., chip timing, judge stopwatch, video review if announced). If a timing device fails, Administrator may use a backup method and/or rerun the heat/Event where practicable.
8. Judging; Video; Verification
8.1
Judges.
Administrator will appoint judges whose decisions are final, subject to the protest procedure below.8.2
Athlete Briefing.
Participants must attend any required briefing. Failure to attend may result in penalties or disqualification.8.3
Video Review.
Administrator may, but is not obligated to, use video review for verification, judging support, or dispute resolution. If video is used, Administrator may set camera requirements and submission deadlines.8.4
Score Posting and Confirmation.
Scores will be posted in a designated place (e.g., app/leaderboard). Participants must verify posted scores within the time stated by Administrator.
9. Tie-Breakers
9.1
Event Tie-Breaker.
If an Event tie occurs, Administrator will apply the tie-breaker announced for that Event, which may include:fastest split time to a designated point;fewer faults/no-reps;earliest completion of a designated segment; orbest performance on a designated sub-metric.9.2
Overall Tie-Breaker.
If an overall tie remains after applying Event tie-breakers, Administrator may use (in order of priority, if stated):highest finish on the final Event;greatest number of Event wins;best aggregate time across for-time Events; ora designated tie-break Event.
10. Penalties; Disqualification
10.1
Grounds for Penalties.
Administrator may impose penalties (including time penalties, rep deductions, point penalties) for:missed standards/no-reps;false start;equipment noncompliance;unsportsmanlike conduct;failure to follow staff instructions; orinterference with other competitors.10.2
Disqualification.
Administrator may disqualify a participant for:intentional cheating or falsification of results;unsafe conduct;violence, threats, harassment, or discrimination;prohibited substances as addressed below; orrepeated or material rules violations.10.3
Effect of Disqualification.
Disqualification results in removal from rankings and forfeiture of prizes, if any.
11. Anti-Doping; Prohibited Substances (Optional)
11.1
Policy.
If Administrator adopts an anti-doping policy, it will be posted and incorporated into these Rules.11.2
Testing.
Administrator may conduct reasonable testing consistent with the posted policy. Refusal to test or tampering is grounds for disqualification.
12. Prizes
12.1
Prize Description.
Any prizes, purse amounts, and distribution will be as published by the Administrator and are subject to these Official Rules.12.1(a) A prize of $500 will be awarded to the top Male and top Female performer, as determined by the Administrator, at each of the eight (8) Regional Events, for a total of $8,000 in Regional prizes.12.1(b) An additional prize of $4,500 will be awarded to the top overall Male and top overall Female performer, as determined by the Administrator, for a total of $9,000 in Overall prizes.12.1(c) For purposes of prize eligibility, divisions designated as “Male” and “Female” shall be determined in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as the Administrator’s policies and eligibility criteria, which may be updated from time to time to ensure compliance, safety, and competitive integrity. The Administrator reserves the right to interpret and apply such criteria in its sole discretion.12.2
Taxes.
Participants are responsible for all applicable taxes and required tax reporting. Administrator may require completion of tax forms (e.g., IRS Form W-9) before awarding prizes.12.3
No Substitution.
Prizes are nontransferable and may not be substituted except at Administrator’s discretion for a prize of equal or greater value.
13. Protests; Disputes
13.1
Protest Window.
Protests must be submitted in writing to the Administrator within 60 minutes after the relevant score is posted (or such other deadline announced).13.2
Protest Requirements.
A protest must include: participant name, Event/heat, issue, and requested remedy. Administrator may require a protest fee and may refund it if the protest is upheld.13.3
Final Decision.
Administrator’s decision on any protest or dispute is final.
14. Media Release; Publicity
14.1
Recording.
Administrator and its designees may photograph, film, and record participants during the Competition.14.2
Grant of Rights.
Each participant grants Administrator and Sponsor a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the participant’s name, likeness, voice, and biographical information for Competition-related and promotional purposes in any media, without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.
15. Intellectual Property
15.1 Administrator
and Sponsor Materials.
Competition names, logos, trademarks, and programming are owned by Administrator or its licensors. Participants may not use Administrator or Sponsor’s marks without prior written consent.15.2
Participant Content.
Any participant-created content remains owned by the participant, subject to the license granted in Section 14.
16. Release of Liability; Indemnity
16.1
Release.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, each participant releases Sponsor, Administrator, venue, judges, staff, volunteers, and each of their affiliates and representatives (collectively, the
“Released Parties”
) from any claims arising out of or related to participation in the Competition, including personal injury, property damage, or death, except to the extent caused by a Released Party’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.16.2
Indemnity.
Each participant will indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any third-party claims arising out of the participant’s conduct, rule violations, or negligence.
17. Privacy
17.1
Data Use.
Administrator may collect and use participant information to administer the Competition, communicate with participants, maintain leaderboards, and award prizes.17.2
Privacy Policy.
Administrator’s privacy policy (if any) is available https://www.crunch.com/terms-of-use and is incorporated by reference.
18. Force Majeure; Cancellation
18.1
Force Majeure.
Administrator may suspend, modify, or cancel the Competition due to events beyond Administrator’s reasonable control (e.g., severe weather, public health emergency, venue closure, governmental orders).18.2
No Consequential Damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Administrator and Sponsor is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from cancellation or modification.
19. Governing Law; Venue
19.1
Governing Law.
These Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Florida without regard to conflict-of-law rules.19.2
Venue.
Exclusive venue for any dispute arising from these Rules or the Competition will be the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida, and each participant consents to personal jurisdiction there.
20. Miscellaneous
20.1
Severability.
If any provision of these Rules is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.20.2
Entire Rules.
These Rules, along with any posted Event standards and policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement regarding the Competition.20.3
Updates.
Administrator may update these Rules before or during the Competition by posting revisions and/or announcing them at the event. Continued participation constitutes acceptance.20.4
Acceptance by Registration/Participation.
These Rules are accepted, and become binding on a participant, when the participant (a) clicks an “I agree” (or similar) button during registration, (b) signs a paper or electronic acknowledgment, and/or (c) participates in any Competition activity, whichever occurs first.20.5
Electronic Signatures.
Electronic signatures and electronic acceptances are valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law (including the U.S. ESIGN Act and state UETA laws, where applicable).20.6
Authority to Accept.
Each participant represents that they have the legal capacity and authority to accept these Rules. If a participant is permitted to participate as a minor, the participant’s parent/legal guardian must also accept these Rules and any required waiver/release on the minor’s behalf.20.7
Recommended Acknowledgment Form.
Administrator may require participants to sign a separate acknowledgment and release form at check-in. If required, failure to sign may result in denial of participation.20.8

I have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Rules & Regulations. I am voluntarily participating in the Conquer Challenge, which involves physical activity and inherent risk of injury, including but not limited to strains, sprains, falls, or other serious injuries. I assume all risks associated with participation. I release, waive, and hold harmless CR Fitness, its affiliates, sponsors, and staff from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages arising from participation, except as required by law. I consent to the use of my name, image, likeness, and voice for promotional or marketing purposes, as outlined in the Rules & Regulations. I certify that I am physically able to participate and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional
